Baby Steps

 

Wow. A whole weekend down in the basement. Painting, painting, painting.

 

This half of the basement was previously done, but we put another coat of paint on the floor.

 

This half of the basement, we finished this morning.

 

There was a shower stall here. Terry ripped it out today. Now, we can get busy on building our grand new bathroom down here...

 

This is going to be a long, ongoing project... all of the plumbing and electrical meet, right here, over the bathroom. This might be Terry's biggest adventure yet.

 

And there will be cursing. 

 

I still have more finish painting to do, and sorting through all of the junk we shoved into this small space (for floor painting).

 

Terry is building me shelves, for all of this crap.

 

We are quite pleased with our progress so far. It's clean, and it doesn't smell anymore.

 

Baby steps.
