Day #30 Bath Redo

 

We worked ALL day !

 

We took care of all kinds of little details,

and some big details.

 

We finally finished the remainder of the tiling.

Some areas could not be done

 until we matched up the wall boards and molding to it.

 

There were some tricky cuts around the window ledge,

but we got the wall board up.

 

These are tongue and groove pine boards,

that will be painted white.

 

Terry finished patching the walls

around the shower ceiling,

so I was able to put up the last of the tiles there.

 

Finally we can put away the tile saws,

 and all of the crap we needed for tiling.

 

Terry worked on refurbishing the bathroom door;

sanded it down,

 and is repainting it,

 and here he is scraping off

 50 years of paint layers from the hinges.

 

He hung the new light fixture.

 

(I'm not putting the glass covers on until the bathroom is done).

 

New molding around the window.
