Day #27 was lost to a mental breakdown.
This bathroom project has reached a level of intensity
that is kicking our butts.
There are so many problems and setbacks,
we are kind of taking a step back
and reevaluating how we are going about things.
And today was day #28.
Life keeps going on outside the bathroom
where we have been prisoners for almost a month now.
The Japenese beetles are invading our garden
and chewing up everything in sight,
even having defiant sex in my herb garden!
My sunflowers are in full bloom,
so pretty.
When Terry got home from work,
we took a nap,
grilled some steaks,
and I gave him a haircut
(because we are going to a wedding tomorrow),
Then we went into the bathroom
and tackled this wall that has been a real problem.
Terry chipped away uneven spots and then leveled it out with thinset.
Tomorrow we will try to hang the wall boards again.
Hopefully this time it will work.
