The storm hit us hard tonight. It was coming sideways, with some pretty strong winds. All of the grass seed we put down, and have been baby sitting, was washed away.
After the storm passed, I went downstairs to work on priming the floor for paint. Surprise... the basement was full of water. The rain came so heavy (and sideways) that it hit the glass block windows and leaked through the seams. So, caulking windows on the West side of the house suddenly rose to the top of the priority list.
Our priority list seems to change daily.
