Happy to be Busy

Terry finished my planter box. It's behind "in the way" dog. I swear, she walks into at least half of all pictures I try to take.
Thanks sweetie, for making this happen. I love it.

Cement is curing nicely. More kudos for Terry, as he just saved us a few hundred bucks !!!

This is an odd little area, next to the driveway. Due to city codes, a corner lot privacy fence must be set back, on an angle, in order to see the sidewalk while backing out. So, we're left with a weird triangular patch of dirt. I should also note that there was a towering old pine right in this spot, hence, the massive roots that Terry is fighting with.

We planted a Maiden Grass specimen here. It is so pretty, and unusual in colors. It's Cream, and Red, and Yellow, and Green. It should do nicely in this sunny spot.

This is all I'm going to plant here, for now. Tomorrow, I'll work on the rest of the area, Finish it off with some mulch and some kind of border.

There's the back of the house, and the dog !!!

We just feel happy here.
