Keeping Busy

Been keeping busy during these frigid winter days.

We never got to finish the molding
before we moved into the house,
and now it is on our list of priorities.

We've measured the
whole perimeter of the first floor,
and need 122 feet of molding.

Now we have to buy it...

Terry has been working on the little area
in the basement which is under the front porch.
 The bricks are crumbling
and there has been water damage in there.

He's using treated lumber to frame the walls,
and give support under the porch.

There's one of the frames going in.

These frames will prolong
the life of the porch foundation.

He's also working on the area
 under the basement stairs,
 which needed more support.

Adding treated lumber to bolster the stairway,
and he will eventually build a wall here,
 and put in a door.

He did not like the mint green paint in the bathroom,
so I repainted it a darker green shade.
 Everybody is happy now.

For Valentine's Day,
we went to the Barry Manilow concert
 at tThe Palace.
 It was zero degrees outside,
but we didn't care. It was a great show.

That's the warm up act, Dave Koz.

And there he is, Barry Manilow.
We had bought nosebleed seats,
but when we got there,
they upgraded our seats to right by the stage.
So cool. Great show.

Finally saved up some money
 for a new basement fridge.
I have severely missed my secondary fridge,
since the last one gave out about a year ago.

Already filling it up.

Well, this is usually how things go, right?
Bought a fridge, and the dryer breaks down.
Damn it !!!
